T' arms, jackanapes, t' arms,
Fer battle, now, is at 'and!
Take up yer pistols an' cutlasses;
we'll show 'em this ain't our last stand!

To fight, scallywags, to fight!
We'll take 'em fer all they got!
Cut out the throats of them that resist,
an' throw 'em in the sea to rot!

Fer glory, me crewmen, fer glory,
we'll defeat all in our way!
Steal as we please from any an' all,
an' drink away the rest o' th' day.

To live, me mateys, to live,
ye do whatever ye must.
Watch each ot'er's backs like ye're brothers.
Remember: the world's against us.

To die, me 'earties, to die.
We knew it'd ne'er last.
Now comes the navy to claim our 'eads,
an' our souls to Davey Jones pass.

So t' arms, me brothers, t' arms,
Fer th' end, now, is at 'and!
Take up yer pistols an' cutlasses!
Fight like 'ell for this, our last stand!
I know it looks like I took a perfectly usable poem and dropped it in a blender with a bunch of apostrophes, and then butchered some of the spelling to boot... It's actually meant to have a sort of pirate-esque accent to it, and if ya don't like it, sue me. :XD: I'm broke, anyway!

Now, about the title: The phrase 'on the account' was used to describe the pirate life (If a man was going on the account, he was becoming a pirate), so I figured it would be appropriate. Make sense now? :ahoy:
